"Once to die"...then purgatory? Mini-Hell

Mr. B grew up Protestant, but then going off to the military and sleeping in Sunday, but observed the Catholic guys going to church..he became Catholic.He said after death, then purgatory..I shared with him the Bible says, "Once to die, then the judgment". You may not know that when purgatory was introduced, a WHOLE lot of money was required to say the Masses for dead people, hoping to get them to Heaven,... and monies then built a huge Cathedral, which will rot-but the Word of God abides forever....for my Catholic friends who may listen, or Mormons, or cults...or atheists..the truth is the truth regardless of what we believe. God's Word will not lie because God cannot lie. No one is good enough to go to Heaven!! There is ONE mediator between God and man: Jesus Christ, the propitian for sin.
