We (myself and my niece Melissa and her husband Jace), found John at a local bar on New Year's Eve, and John and his friend agreed to an interview. we asked them about New Year's Resolutions which led into a conversation about God, Heaven, Hell, and God's Law... We tried to clarify that only belief in Jesus is not the full Gospel,(John was confused) because even the demons believe and tremble, facing judgment from a Holy, righteous God. We also discussed God's forgiveness, )took him through a courtroom setting) and God's standard of goodness...and truth. I asked if he now loves the things God loves, and hates the things God hates-if he has had a heart change rent by God. I reiterated that what is important is not just what we believe, but is what we believe the truth.Please pray for John!!
