I met Shawn, raised Mormon, in front of the theater. He said he's read the Bible many times, and he asked a lot of good questions about Jesus and His Deity. He wasn't sure about Heaven and Hell. I shared with him Luke 16, the man in torment in flames in Hell. He also questioned Christ's deity, so I shared John 1, 17, and other Scripture as well as Peter's confession of Christ. THis was a very good interview, praise God for a Mormon who is willing to stand in front of a noisy theater and talk about the things of eternity! Please pray that Father would reveal TRUTH in the person and salvation of Jesus Christ alone to save him from the judgment to come, that he might know Him and the power of His resurrection!!

This sweet caller with a kids terminally ill foundation, when asked what happens after we die, said we all go to a better place.I asked, "You mean like Heaven? Who gets to go to Heaven..what do you think?"
She said these kids deserve to go to Heaven.
I asked, "What about older people with cancer, what if they've led a horrible life, should they go to Heaven, if they've treated people badly?"
She said, "God always forgives...if people pray for other people, then He does.."
I asked, 'Well, if Hitler or Sadam got cancer, and other people like him, ..if people prayed for them, would they go to Heaven?"
She said, "Well, that's something a little bit different."
I asked, "What if God had his own standard to get into Heaven...do you think you would go? "
She said yes. After we went thru the Law/grace, she said she had never ever thought about what we talked about... I reiterrated the love of God in the cross, that there's no other way, He's the Truth , the Life, repent and trust, or the wrath and anger of God will remain on us. Please pray for Nicole to be saved.

Mr. J and Mr. C are in town to work on cable for the new broadband They got millions tracts,agreed to interview. I asked if they made any New Year's resolutions, they said not really. Mr. Justin said after Christmas and before New Year's, his aunt and uncle were killed in a car crash near his house. This led to asking about death. Mr. Justin said he really didn't know what happens next, but believes in a higher power.They hoped treating people good would find favor with God. The Law showed them their sin. Then Mr. Justin got a call to get to work, and I quickly asked if they knew what God had done for them to take their place of punishment, thanked them, and gave them Kirk's "Look in the Mirror" CD. Please pray for Mr. Justin and Mr. Carlos, that the Law of God would prick their conscience, and they would be driven to the cross of Christ which cleanses it from dead works to serve the Living God!!

I met Mr. Doug at the park and he agreed to an interview. We started off jovial with millions and New Year Resolutions. Mr. Doug, like many, said he does good things for people, so he should go to Heaven. I asked if God can change His own character, that God loves justice! The conversation slowly went to more sober as Mr. Doug wanted to justify himself in front of the Law of God. I explained that Jesus took the wrath of God for us as a propitiation, and used the vision of dead bones from Ezekiel to ask him, "Can these dead bones live?", that salvation is a supernatural work of God. Please pray for Mr. Doug to examine the Bible and seek the truth of God's Word and cry out to Him for salvation!

The worst thing that could ever happen to a church is to become civilized and respectable, for in that lies no power.
We are pilgrims, we are strangers, we are awkward, we are dislocated. We find no home here. Our job is to take a Gospel, so covered up by the designs of men, strip away all that faulty dress, and to preach the bare bones of a GOspel that is nothing more than a scandal. But in that, we will see the power of God!!!!

We (Betty, Melissa and Jace) stopped at a convenience store on New Year's Eve to get a drink and ended up witnessing to Bradwah and Harri, brothers from Nepal! THey are Hindu, but have only seen the influence of Catholicism in America. How precious to share Christ with them only minutes before the New Year! They said there is a river to wash away "mistakes", I told them about the Water of Life who takes away sin once for all! Shared the Law bringing the knowledge of sin, gave Bradwah my Evidence N.T. and we stocked them with Johns, CD's, tracts, and invited them to church! Please pray fro Bradwah and Harri to come to Christ to wash away their sin, and be soundly saved!

We (myself and my niece Melissa and her husband Jace), found John at a local bar on New Year's Eve, and John and his friend agreed to an interview. we asked them about New Year's Resolutions which led into a conversation about God, Heaven, Hell, and God's Law... We tried to clarify that only belief in Jesus is not the full Gospel,(John was confused) because even the demons believe and tremble, facing judgment from a Holy, righteous God. We also discussed God's forgiveness, )took him through a courtroom setting) and God's standard of goodness...and truth. I asked if he now loves the things God loves, and hates the things God hates-if he has had a heart change rent by God. I reiterated that what is important is not just what we believe, but is what we believe the truth.Please pray for John!!
