"The sting of death." and our only hope!

This young man from Houston granted an interview at a jr. college. I posed 4 questions about where we came from, why we're here, how to live, where do we go when we die? Some other guys walked by and I offered some cash for those who could name the 10 Commandments. From there, and shooting for their heart condition, I reasoned with them about Heaven, Hell, eternity, and God's justice from God's Law and His Word. They gave the classical "God just forgives", so I took them to a courtroom setting to show that God will not be bribed or corrupted, and will uphold His Law, and that everything will be laid bare before our Creator. A wasp flew by, so I used the "sting of death" to illustrate further. Please pray for these young men to be convicted of sin, that God would grant them repentance, and salvation. This guy interviewed in a loud, crowded, college cafeteria. kept using his friend's name, and by the time we got thru his friends had all left. I asked "Who do you think is the most hated man in history?" He said Hitler. I disagreed. (It is Jesus Christ) Then I asked "What is the most important thing to you?" and "What are 3 things written on a tombstone? " and "What do you think happens after you die?" He said, "It depends on what you believe in!" So I dove in for absolute truth, belief, and the Law and the Gospel of Christ which is the power of God unto salvation. He tried justifying certain sins, believing God "just forgives". A majority of people believe this. He also got a CD by Kirk Cameron about the Law and grace.Please pray for Jase (his real name) and the others at his table that got millions tracts.

It was really loud, but these 3 guys agreed to an interview in the cafeteria. I gave them millions tracts from www.livingwaters.com They HOPED they would go to Heaven...using the Law, and their God-given conscience, I reasoned with them about sin, Hell, death, and the judgment of God. They have Bibles, but they don't have them in town on campus. I gave them some John Piper and Mark Cahill books and some Ray Comfort CD's. Please pray for these men to repent and trust Jesus for salvation!

I approached a group of youth who participated in the Bluebonnet Relays Track Meet and gave them MySpace tracts from www.onemilliontracts.com . George, originally from London, then Capetown, S. Africa and now lives in Denton, agreed to an interview! His other friends pitched in as well. I posed 4 questions, and he believed in the Big Bang and evolution. One asked, "How do I know Heaven exists?" and how to not lust. I reasoned w/ them about creation and the Creator, morality and the Moral-giver. We went thru the conscience and God's Law which brings the knowledge of sin, God's justice, and HIs forgiveness, propitiation in the cross for those who humble their hearts, repent and believe in Christ to save them from judgement and Hell.

These 2 young ladies tried to guess 10 things found in an Easter basket..then they tried to guess the 10 Commandments for a prize. They retrieved a 10 Commandment coin from an egg to help them out...after going thru them, it helped them to understand the holiness of God and His righteous judgment against sinners...I took them thru John 3 to explain the love of God in the cross, and if we don't repent and believe, His wrath remains on us. (John 3:36). They had started going to church and stopped doing some worldly things, I reiterated that it is the cross alone that saves us from God's wrath. I gave them Piper 50 Reasons Jesus Why Jesus Came to die books. Please pray for salvation for these 2 sweet girls!

I met these Spanish speakers at the park. I asked the grandmother to translate after I gave them tracts. They said they had been shot at near the border. In between her watching thegrandchildren , I used that to springboard into the Gospel!

A girl and guy youth at the park took Smart Cards from www.livingwaters.com and discovered they were not good people! They shared earbuds, but listened and responded as we conversed. I used the Law and shared about the Book of Life in Revelation to share the Gospel with them. The guy complained and said that because God kills people, that he thinks God is not perfect. He thinks God sinned by flooding the earth. :(
I brought them back to where evil comes from (the heart).There weren't any smiley faces on the exterior of the ark. They tried to justify themselves and condemn God (imagine that...) He said he was not afraid to die. He has created a god to suit himself. I explained that God is good just to let us breathe His good air! Pray that they repent and put their trust in the work of Christ on the cross.

I presented this group of youth with some scenarios, such as "What will you do if a meteorite is about to hit the earth, and you have one hour to live?" They said various answers. I shared the Law/grace with them to show their exceeding sinfulness of sin. One of the girls said 2 of her brothers friends died in a car wreck that very morning. They all took tracts and CD's. Please pray for Shelby, A.J., and the rest for Father convict them of sin and grants them repentance unto salvation.

Mr. John said that he is a Christian, but could not tell me what I must do to be saved. If you are listening/reading this, you CAN get equipped to share the Gospel, using the Law which brings the knowledge of sin (Rom. 7:7) and is our schoolmaster to lead us to Christ. (Gal. 3:24) We can't share our faith, but we can share the Gospel!!

Mr. Kevin and Mr. Devonte were at the park and agreed to an interview. I asked: "What is the longest (real) word in the English language? "They couldn't guess.
"It's pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis"
I explained that it's a lung disease.
Then I asked, "What is one of the shortest words in the English language?"
The guessed it: "I"I asked, "If I, being "you" got pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis and if it was deadly and if you only had a month to live, what would you do? Kevin was sweet and said he would tell his sister he loves her and spend time with her....etc.
I handed him a million and asked:
"If you had a million and discovered you had (that disease)and if you only had a month to live, what would you do? He told me. I asked, "What about the last day? What about the second after you die? Where would you be? " He was not sure....
I took him thru the Commandments, and he began to see he would be in Hell if he died today...so I shared the Gospel with him, and he said I had given him a lot to think about.
